Each Bitcoin Bear is more than just a cuddly friend - it’s a fun and secure way to gift real Bitcoin. Every bear is linked to a unique QR code so you can track its live value until the big unlock day.
When you place your order, you choose how much Bitcoin to add and set a future unlock date (for example, a birthday or Christmas).
Your Bitcoin gift value is securely held in safekeeping via our regulated crypto partner until the unlock date. It remains protected and visible at all times.
Each bear arrives with its Certificate of Authenticity and unique Bear Number.
Inside, the recipient will find a QR code (on both the bear and the certificate) that lets them see their bear’s Bitcoin balance at any time — no crypto knowledge required.
Your bear’s adventure begins! Scanning the QR code brings up a secure webpage showing the current Bitcoin and GBP value, updated automatically.
It’s a simple, fun way to watch the ups and downs of the Bitcoin market — a gentle introduction to the world of crypto.
One week before the unlock date, the recipient gets an email containing their Claim Code.
When the big day arrives, they visit our Claims Page and enter:
- Their Bear Number
- Their Claim Code
- Their email address
- Their Bitcoin wallet address
Once verified, the Bitcoin amount held in safekeeping is transferred directly from our custody to their own wallet
